Hay una nueva red social que esta buscando integrar las funciones más exitosas de redes sociales como Twitter y Facebook con la plataforma de Google. La idea es como una decantación natural de los alcances de los servicios de Gmail. Monta en esta poderosa plataforma funcionalidades como el Tweet, Compartir fotos como en Facebook, y la posibilidad de indexar o valorar cualquier búsqueda en google. Así como Facebook a través de Connect busco incluir en su red social todo aquello que se encontraba fuera de ella, Google busca crear una red social con sus usuarios de Gmail y su motor de búsqueda.
Sin consideramos dentro del mismo paquete, blogger, el suite de Google Documents, está nueva red social, Google+, es al mismo una herramienta para la generación de contenido y publicarlo en la red.
La gran ventaja de Google+ es que permite diferenciar lo que compartes con distintos circulos. Los circulos permiten distinguir con facilidad lo que quiere compartir con tus amigos, tu familia o tus contactos.
En su página Google+ explica con videos muy simples cada una de las funcionalidades de esta nueva red social.
